This summer Urban Splash celebrates its 33rd anniversary. Over 33 years we’ve created more than 2 million sq ft of workspace, helping hundreds of SMEs grow across the UK. Richard Lace is our Head of Commercial Lettings and oversees this portfolio; in a new article this month he reflects on his work and his early days with Urban Splash, going back more than 20 years.

Homes are now available to rent at Mansion House – the latest phase of our Port Loop neighbourhood in Birmingham. These modern canal-side apartments are designed to offer bright and spacious living areas, enhanced by large windows and extra-high ceilings that flood the interiors with natural light. This summer brings a packed events programme to Royal William Yard, including a brand-new Sunset Sailaway Cruise from the marina! Urban Splash has been transforming the waterfront for 20 years, adding bars, restaurants, shops, galleries and homes while curating a lively events calendar

We had a great time at UKREiiF in Leeds last month – with colleagues taking to various stages and roundtables to share the Urban Splash story. Highlights included sponsoring Rock@UKREiiF, a two‑night live music event that raised funds for youth homelessness charity LandAid, as well as panel appearances and talks from Suzy Jones, Guy Ackernley, Mark Latham, Joe Woolley and Tom Bloxham MBE.

CyanLines, an initiative cofounded by our Chairman Tom Bloxham MBE, has assembled a new partnership board to drive forward its vision of creating a 100+ mile network connecting Greater Manchester's parks, squares, rivers, canals and viaducts.
