Urban Splash Newsplash - October 2026
Welcome to your October Newsplash – with all the details from US!
For more than 30 years, we've been giving unloved buildings a second life and this month the proof was in the queue as buyers lined up at the Park Hill sales launch to secure their new home. Park Hill also featured prominently in Property Week’s heritage supplement – and we've got a preview for you below.
Elsewhere, there’s news of agents and art at Royal William Yard in Plymouth, great efforts from our charity runners and more.

Sales success at Park Hill
The first drop of our newest limited-edition homes at Park Hill launched this month, and Sheffielders couldn't wait. Customers queued from the early hours to secure their new home, with the first arriving at the building at 11.30pm on Friday. The drop from US and our longstanding partners Places for People included two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, all with dual aspect views. Read more about the launch in this new blog.

Our commitment to Park Hill
Park Hill's transformation also made the pages of Property Week this week – part of a feature on saving the country's heritage buildings. It's a story that sums up what Urban Splash has been doing across the country for more than 30 years – seeing potential where others see problems and giving remarkable buildings a new life. RWY Paint Out as the Yard becomes a Studio
We kicked off Artober, our month-long celebration of art and creativity at Royal William Yard this month with the Paint Out event. Artists, painters, illustrators and sketchers joined us on Sunday 3rd October to capture their own view of Royal William Yard. Thank you to everyone who took part and made the day so special – see what else is on at the Yard this month here.

Running for a great cause
Congratulations to Team Urban Splash, who laced up for this year's Race for LandAid at Salford Quays. The annual event, hosted by LandAid to help tackle youth homelessness, raised more than £10,000, with our team taking on either the 5k or 10k course. The event was followed by this week’s LandAid Gala dinner in Manchester which raised a further £68,000 or the charity. Well done to everyone involved in both events.

Specialist agents appointed at Royal William Yard
We've appointed leisure specialists Starka and EJ Hales to help us bring even more great food, drink and leisure operators at Royal William Yard in Plymouth. They'll build on a strong line-up that already includes Wagamama, Le Vignoble and Seco Lounge, the Yard's first commercial occupier back in 2010. Today, the Yard's Grade I and II listed former naval buildings house 215 homes and 174,000 sq ft of historic commercial space.

Home of the month:
330 Long Henry, Park Hill, Sheffield
We’re working on the newest collection of homes at Park Hill and among them is 330 Long Henry. This 544 sq ft duplex, one-bedroom home will be dual-aspect - meaning light pours in from both sides, while a private balcony will overlook the residents' gardens. There's room to live, work and unwind, right in the heart of one of Sheffield's most iconic buildings.

Space of the month:
2B & 2C Beehive Mill, Manchester
Few corners of Manchester are as vibrant as Ancoats, which has become the go-to neighbourhood for people and businesses alike. Now there's another chance to set up shop there, at Unit 2B & 2C at Beehive Mill. Once home to the legendary Sankeys nightclub, the mill has been sensitively restored to create workspaces like this 1,073 sq ft (100 sq m) office.
