Sharing valuable perspectives on regeneration - UKREiiF 2026
UKREiiF, the UK's annual Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure forum, returned to Leeds last month, bringing together thousands of industry professionals.
Amongst the attendees was our Associate Director - Development - Joe Woolley, a first time attendee at the event. In this new blog, Joe looks back at the event.

"Anyone in this sector knows that UKREiiF is one of the most significant gatherings in our calendar, so I was pleased to be there for the event a couple of weeks ago. Leeds plays host to the event, as thousands of people descend on the city to share knowledge, build relationships and explore the future challenges and opportunities for our sector.
It’s also a great place to us to get out there and tell the Urban Splash story. We will celebrate 33 years in business next month and it’s always a joy to reflect on that, meet with local authorities - many of whom I work with every day up and down the country - as well as partners who’ve been a part of the journey and look at the work we’ve all done to create places that stand the test of time."
"Among the standout parts was Rock@UKREiiF, a two-night live music event that raised funds for youth homelessness charity LandAid. The combination of great music and meaningful fundraising perfectly captured the collaborative spirit that makes UKREiiF special.
Urban Splash was proud to sponsor this event, extending our ongoing relationship with LandAid. This partnership is particularly meaningful as my colleague and Urban Splash director Nathan Cornish serves as North West Chair for the charity, so we're always keen to support their important work addressing youth homelessness across the UK."

"Beyond the networking and fundraising, I was also proud to see our colleagues deliver engaging panel appearances and talks throughout the event. Suzy Jones, Guy Ackernley, Mark Latham and Tom Bloxham MBE all represented Urban Splash brilliantly, sharing valuable perspectives on regeneration, placemaking, and the industry's future. Their contributions highlighted our commitment to creating places that people want to live, work, and spend time in.
I also joined a roundtable at the event. Entitled ‘Who holds the power’, it explored accountability in the future of UK partnerships, something I’m really involved in and passionate about. UKREiiF once again proved why it's such an important fixture in our industry calendar - combining serious business discussion with genuine relationship building, all set against the backdrop of Leeds' vibrant city centre.
See you there next year..?"
