Introducing our new US30 film. The piece chronicles our learnings from the past three decades, while outlining our vision for new Urban Splash places in Milton Keynes, Swansea, Cumbria, Manchester, and more. As we say in the film – “the future is a shared project”, and here’s how we want to deliver it sustainably.

Following our recent partnership announcements with Aviva and Grosvenor, we’ve now joined forces with Glenbrook to deliver more new homes across the country. Working in joint venture our partnership has submitted its first planning application at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes, creating a new neighbourhood of 450 homes next to the Grand Union Canal and the 110 acre Campbell Park.

We rounded off Q2 with deals on more than 18,000 sq ft of space across our portfolio – many of them with independent bar and restaurant operators. A new cocktail and craft beer was confirmed for Park Hill in Sheffield. Known as The Pearl, it will offer drinks alongside pintxos-inspired bar snacks, while in Manchester, Finders Keepers will open at New Islington’s waterfront with a “mission is to serve the folks of New Islington Marina and Ancoats a masterfully curated, seasonal cocktail menu, alongside a great selection of spirits.”

Summer is here at Royal William Yard, with a programme of events to take you through August. There’s SUP boarding sessions, quiz nights, and if that’s not enough, Everyman Cinema is now open and screening those much talked-about big blockbusters (are you Team Barbie? Or Team Oppenheimer?) and the bars and restaurants will be serving up their summer flavours too! See the full calendar on the link below.

As we continue our 30th birthday celebrations, we’ve been hearing from more friends of Urban Splash. This month, we interviewed Tracey Stephenson co-founder of Staying Cool. The brand, which also celebrates a milestone 15th anniversary this year, creates design-led boutique serviced apartments, with many of them in our Rotunda building in Birmingham. Here, Tracey talks about shared anniversaries, shared ideas, and getting her idea off the ground.

We’re always looking for ambitious new colleagues to join our lively office in Manchester, helping us as we deliver more exciting regeneration projects across the country. Right now, we’re on the hunt for a new Executive Assistant to support our Chairman and board members; the role will include a varied workload, great perks and events, and our Urban Splash culture.
