    Talking MMC with Property Week

    25 May 2020
A 2 minute read by Simon Gawthorpe

This week marks the first anniversary of our £90m deal with Homes England and Sekisui House in which we announced big changes for our House by Urban Splash business (you can read more on that here).

To celebrate the occasion, I was asked to join a Property Week podcast to discuss modern methods of construction (MMC) - giving me a chance to talk about our plans one year on.

We discussed our new House by Urban Splash neighbourhoods – which we’re creating at places like Port Loop in Birmingham, Northstowe in Cambridgeshire and Wirral Waters in Merseyside; collaboration and the supply chain, as well as our ambitions to acquire more land and take on more opportunities in the near future (if you know of a site, drop us a line!).
