Urban Splash rides into spring with 9,000 sq ft of Commercial deals
Award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash has completed more than 9,000 sq ft of lettings across its North West portfolio, welcoming a diverse mix of growing businesses into its creative workspaces.
The largest deal sees RYDE bring its fitness concept to Liverpool for the first time. Founded in 2022 with bases in Manchester and Leeds, RYDE will open its first Liverpool base in a 4,000 sq ft unit in Old Haymarket in the city.
RYDE Founder and CEO Kyle Harris said: “We’ve built strong communities in Leeds and Manchester and were ready for the next chapter in Liverpool. Old Haymarket gives us the space and location to grow even further. It’s about more than coffee or bikes; it’s about creating a place people want to spend time in.”

Elsewhere, Urban Splash has completed a letting to Lathbury Logistics at Matchworks in Speke, South Liverpool, where the company has taken space in the Annexe building.
At Boat Shed in Salford Quays, new occupiers include Superyield, a supplier of premium products to UK and EU distributors and retailers, alongside investment consultancy Jagger & Associates.
In Manchester, Beehive Mill, the former Sankeys nightclub in Ancoats, has welcomed clothing brand Club 1984, continuing the building’s evolution from nightlife landmark to creative workspace.
Commenting on the deals, Ryan Leigh of Urban Splash said: “These completions reflect the strength and flexibility of our commercial portfolio. From independent brands like RYDE to logistics, consultancy and fashion businesses, we’re attracting companies that value character, community and well-designed space. It’s encouraging to see such a broad mix of organisations choosing Urban Splash buildings as the next stage for their growth.”
