Urban Splash appoints Starka and EJ Hales at Royal William Yard
Urban Splash has appointed property specialists Starka and EJ Hales to market food and beverage and leisure opportunities at Royal William Yard, its 15-acre waterfront estate in Plymouth.
The joint instruction covers the Yard's ground floor F&B, retail and leisure spaces, with the scheme already home to operators including Wagamama, Wildwood and Seco Lounge, which became the Yard's first commercial occupier when it opened in 2010.
Transformed by Urban Splash over the last two decades, Royal William Yard's Grade I and II listed former naval buildings now provide 215 homes and 174,000 sq ft of historic commercial space.
Hospitality is now at the heart of the Yard's offer. Alongside its restaurants and bars, the estate is home to Admiral's House by Maison Pierre, a boutique hotel, as well as an Everyman cinema.

Retail and leisure demand has also gathered pace this year. The newly created Arcade in the Brewhouse, which created flexible units for independent retailers, is now fully let, following 7,000 sq ft of recent deals, including womenswear boutique Pebble and farm shop-style grocery store Natural Source.
