Launching our pet friendly initiative at New Islington
New Islington is one of Manchester’s most exciting new neighbourhoods, filled with great people, great homes, waterways and green spaces. Head over Instagram and you’ll find people checking into New Islington, sharing lots of pictures of animals (namely dogs) enjoying the waterside, so we’re chuffed to now announce our new ‘pet friendly’ initiative, because furry friends can help us through these ‘woof’ times.
We’ve made the move having consulted future Mansion House residents about what more they wanted to see at New Islington – the area they’ll soon call home. Many of those customers expressed their desire to have a pet live with them within Mansion House; it’s something compounded even more following the impact of recent events.
We’re pleased to fulfil their wishes and welcome both human and furry residents to Mansion House when the first homes complete. And, your furry friends can even now accompany you on viewings to your new home thanks to our virtual viewings platform (you can find out more about our virtual viewings here).
You and your pet can snoop around the homes, which are designed by award-winning architects Shedkm using innovative materials and construction techniques. There are high-ceilings, dual aspect, oversized windows and balconies offering some awesome views across New Islington Marina and Cotton Field park – perfect for pet lovers.
And, when they can safely operate again, much of the local food and drink offering is dog-friendly too; Pollen Bakery is right next door to Mansion House, with pooches more than welcome in the award-winning artisan bakery.
