Our collaboration with Allermuir Home
This week we expanded our portfolio of House by Urban Splash products – launching our first apartments - Mansion House at New Islington. Among the first completed homes is our show apartment; the interiors have been designed by our in-house team in collaboration with Allermuir Home - a domestic sub-brand of internationally renowned contemporary furniture brand Allermuir. Here the company’s creative director Matt Ousby tells us more about the collaboration.
One look at the House by Urban Splash Mansion House and it’s easy to see why such an aesthetic would appeal to anyone with or without an appreciation of design. Each wall is created from exposed CLT (cross laminated timber), giving the homes a stunning Scandi-inspired aesthetic. And of course as another UK business, we wanted to work with House by Urban Splash to bring our mutual ideas to life.
This was the perfect opportunity for us as a business; we have reached a pivotal time at Allermuir as until recently our UK manufactured design driven products have been exclusive to the contract market, but now we’re helping customers directly access our portfolio with Allermuir Home, a new concept of living where design and comfort are equal. We were delighted to put our creative heads together with House by Urban Splash to bring our pieces into their new show home – with the result being an impressive, contemporary interior.
Projects like this are so important these days. Now, more than ever, people are embracing inspired design at home – a place which has become our workplace and sanctuary, Mansion House has really captured this allowing accessibility to great design and quality details.
We’re really proud to see some of our latest domestic designs now showcased in Mansion House, alongside key pieces from our designer collections. If you visit the space we’d love to hear what you think; you can also view the pieces now on our website.
