Designed by US... Coloured by you...

    17 April 2020
A 3 minute read by Rachel Thomas

With more time being spent in the house and many more people getting creative, we’ve delved through our archive and developed these lovely colouring sheets for any budding artists to fuse their love of art and architecture.

This first series of sheets gives you the opportunity to put your own stamp on some of our Urban Splash developments like House at New Islington in Manchester, Park Hill in Sheffield and Chimney Pot Park in Salford.

Our illustration of Park Hill in Sheffield...

You can either follow the palates of original architects shedkm, Studio Egret West and Hawkins Brown, or come up with your very own designs; once you’ve coloured in the sheets please do share them on social media too using the #colourwithUS and tagging us; we’ll send some of the best artists a copy of our Urban Splash book.

And the original design for inspiration!

Don’t worry if you haven’t got a printer – you can also download the illustrations as jpeg images so you can save them to your computer or tablet and colour them in digitally.

We've just published our second batch of these as well, so if there are any other Urban Splash developments you’d like to colour in, just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
