Meet US - 5 minutes with Dom McCrory
Our Residential team are on hand to support our customers, from helping them finding their perfect home to buy or rent to handling maintenance, property management and more across our portfolio which currently spans eight UK cities.
We spoke to our Residential Consultant for Leeds and Bradford, Dom McCrory, to find out more about his role and why he’s not just here for handovers.
“I look after three main sites across our Leeds and Bradford region – East Street Mills, Saxton and Lister Mills, helping our customers at all stages from enquiries and viewings to valuations and inspections. I cover around 350 homes in total, working closely with our team based at our Manchester head office to make sure the whole process runs smoothly.
“I’ve been in my role over five years now – I know the places inside out and I’ve built lots of great relationships over the years, helping our customers find their new homes and doing all I can to help them settle in.”

From hello to home
“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, from the way we design our buildings to the level of service we deliver on the ground.
“I’m often the first point of contact for our customers as they look to find out more about a property we have on the market and book a viewing.
“A few years back, most of my chats with customers happened over the phone, but since Covid, there’s been a real shift towards messaging. It’s so simple to send over video tours, and people can ask questions in their own time. I can reply quickly, and the whole thing just feels more relaxed and personal.”

More than just a move-in
“Seeing our customers happy with their new homes is incredibly rewarding. Our service goes beyond just handing the keys over – our in-house team manage the entire process, including property maintenance, so our customers know they can rely on us at every stage of their property journey.
“I’m on site quite often, which gives me the chance to catch up with our customers. It’s always nice seeing them after they’ve settled in and staying connected.”

One home, many chapters
“A few customer stories really stand out to me from over the years, one being Phil. Phil first moved into Saxton as a tenant before deciding to buy at the development a few years later. Then along came an opportunity to move overseas, so Phil decided to let out his apartment with Urban Splash.
“He was so pleased with our level of service and knew his tenants would be in good hands when he moved abroad. That’s a huge kudos to our team and something we can all be proud of.”

New streets, new stories
“I’m looking forward to continuing to welcome new residents to our developments across Leeds and Bradford. Things are busier than ever, and the rest of 2025 is going to be no different.
“This year, we’ll be welcoming new residents to the Climate Innovation District in Leeds where we’ve got a variety of homes from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom townhouses.”
