A busy year ahead at Wirral Waters

    22 January 2021

2021 is the year in which we’ll be delivering our first House by Urban Splash homes to Wirral Waters – an exciting new neighbourhood in Merseyside.

We’re creating the community in partnership with Peel L&P, creating East Float – a neighbourhood filled with green space, blue space and 350 of our homes – all of which are being created using Modern Methods of Construction. There’ll be our Town House homes, which you’ll have already seen at places like New Islington in Manchester, Port Loop in Birmingham and Inholm Northstowe in Cambridgeshire, but also a brand new House typology – known as Row House. We’ll be telling you all about that new home very, very soon…

For now though, we’re hard at work on site laying the foundations for our new homes. Our partner Peel has progressed the public areas around our East Float neighbourhood, appointing a contractor who will now start public realm works creating an ‘upper boardwalk’ pedestrian and cycleway link along the northern dock edge of East Float, creating an attractive waterside thoroughfare and providing the public with access to the dock edge for the first time in over a century.

We're working with Peel L&P to create a brand new neighbourhood in Merseyside

They will also create four contemporary squares, connecting the Dock Road pedestrian and cycleway public realm works to the dock edge, improving connectivity and enhancing the health and wellbeing of local people.

All of this activity is helping us create what will be Merseyside’s most exciting new neighbourhood; if you want to be one of the first people to live there, you can register your interest here. We’ll launch our first homes for sale in the spring.
