Lakeshore sales success leads to final apartments being released - with Help to Buy available

    16 January 2020

Having sold 96% of homes at the Copper Building, developer Urban Splash is giving local buyers a final chance to secure their own apartment or penthouse at Lakeshore in South Bristol.

The last six homes are now on sale; prices start at £150,000 for one-bedroom apartments and penthouses start from £250,000. Among them is the scheme’s largest home, a 947 sq ft dual aspect penthouse on top floors, offering vast living space and a generous balcony overlooking the lake and gardens. All of the homes – including the penthouses – are available via the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, meaning that eligible customers can buy a home with a deposit of just £7,500 *.

The building comprises a total of 136 homes, the majority of which are now sold and occupied; speaking about why the scheme has proved to be such a hit with residents, Urban Splash sales director Guy Ackernley said: “We launched the first homes at Copper Building in the autumn, in which time the properties have been snapped up by local people who see the viable benefits of living outside of the city in lots of green space.”

Each packed with excellent design features – created by Bristol-based architects Ferguson Mann – the homes offer balconies, dual aspect views and access to 10 acres of private resident gardens – including a lake.

Concluded Guy: “The community here, along with the adjacent Lakeshore building, is thriving and we look forward to soon welcoming its final residents.”
