Society
What was community has become society. Whichever word you use we believe that there is real value in listening, learning and then doing, in that order.
Society is about including, not excluding, neither rich ones, nor poor ones, just normal ones that work, properly, without the need to intervene, when things start to go badly wrong.
Our view about society is that it's about interdependence not independence. About the rediscovery of the joys of being 'local' about looking out for each other, and doing good things that matter.
We also think that all good society is about mix, mixed income, mixed tenure, mixed use. After all there is much more that unites us than divides us, and we all need somewhere to buy a pint of milk, to buy a paper that we can walk to without getting in a car.
