Urban Splash completes more than 41,000 sq ft of lettings and renewals in a single month

    16 June 2025

Award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash has completed deals on 41,185 sq ft of commercial space across its national portfolio in a single month.

More than two thirds of the transactions were with existing customers choosing to renew or expand their space – including Global Beauty Products, which renewed 20,000 sq ft at the Matchworks in South Liverpool and added a further 6,000 sq ft. Having grown from just 2,500 sq ft a decade ago, the company is now Urban Splash’s largest tenant in the Liverpool city region.

Several Matchworks occupiers also expanded, with TFF Breaks securing an additional 8,097 sq ft and North West Air Ambulance Charity, renewing their lease at the business estate. Across other Urban Splash developments in Merseyside, renewal deals were completed with companies such as Bluprint Global, which retained 3,511 sq ft. Further renewals took place in other locations, including Salford Quays and Plymouth, with customers at Boat Shed and Royal William Yard extending agreements.

Commenting on the lettings, Nicky Harries of Urban Splash said: “It’s a real endorsement of the work we do to create vibrant, flexible, design-led workspaces. We’re proud that so many of our customers not only stay with us but continue to grow with us – some, like Global Beauty Products, expanding tenfold over the years.”

New tenants also joined the portfolio, including SA Group trading as Nisa, which has taken a 1,113 sq ft retail unit at Old Haymarket in Liverpool: “We’re continuing to see strong demand from businesses who want inspiring environments in which their teams can thrive – whether that’s in repurposed heritage buildings or modern sustainable workspaces. We’ve got ambitious plans for the months ahead, and look forward to welcoming even more businesses to our communities across the country.”

Urban Splash’s commercial portfolio spans cities across England, comprising 1 million sq ft of office, leisure, retail, and other commercial space.
