Bags of original character
Guardhouse is situated just beyond the incredible arched entrance to Royal William Yard. This huge redevelopment project has transformed this former Plymouth Naval yard into a thriving community of apartments, workspaces, waterside retail, restaurants and leisure spaces.
Guardhouse combines six units, providing perfect office, studio and retail space. None of the unique charter of this building has been lost since its restoration which now provides new modern features, injecting fun and character in to the space.
Located near the entrance to Royal William Yard, Guardhouse provides a prominent office location and address. The fantastic mix of restaurants, shops and amenities, along with the incredible landscaped gardens and waterfront, provide an inspiring place for businesses to base themselves to succeed.
Royal William Yard is a place where thousands of people live and work. But with its beautiful buildings, stunning views, great restaurants, leisure facilities, bakery and galleries, it’s a destination too. There’s always something going on here.
You can try yoga or fitness classes on the lawn, take the stunning, award-winning steps down to the famous South West Coast Path, rent a paddleboard from Firestone Arches or take a dip in the tidal swimming pool at Firestone Bay. There’s also a regular programme of events all year round, including craft and food markets, seasonal events, pop-up arts performances such as the Invisible Circus’ street entertainers, wall dancers, The Barbican Theatre and Plymouth Art to name a few.
