Description
One of Manchester’s surviving cotton mills, Phoenix Mill was originally built in 1849, situated on the Ashton Canal in New Islington. We have transformed this historic loft into a fantastic open plan office space.
It’s certainly a unique office. A character space, full of functionality & retained features - blasted brickwork, pitched roof with exposed beams, fantastic ceiling heights & feature glazing overlooking the canal - designed to maximise natural light throughout the space. The unit has all the nostalgia of an iconic mill conversion, while a fully-fitted contemporary kitchen and shower room bring you a high specification finish, combining the best of the old with the best of the new.
It's incredibly well located: just minutes’ walk from New Islington Metrolink station, 10 minutes’ walk along the canal to Piccadilly Station and close to regional and national public transport networks.
Its surrounding neighbourhood - New Islington has its very own health centre, as well as its own park and marina, complete with canal boat moorings.
The redundant mills of Manchester provide great opportunities for creatives to set up and house their businesses. This type of space is exciting - original, great value and, most of all, well located.
