    Mills Bakery

    Plymouth

    Stunning inside and out

Mills Bakery is a Grade I Listed structure that combines a timeless neo-classical exterior with a stunning interior redevelopment which blends 19th century features with eye-catching modern touches.

It stands at the heart of our Royal William Yard scheme in Plymouth - a place where thousands of people live and work. It’s filled with beautiful buildings, stunning views, great restaurants, leisure facilities, bakery and galleries, and a jam-packed calendar of events like craft and food markets, seasonal events, pop-up arts performances such as the Invisible Circus’ street entertainers, through to weekly yoga and fitness classes on the lawn.

We’ve done lots of work round these parts, not just in the buildings but also connecting the stunning, award-winning steps down to the famous South West Coast Path; we’ve opened up the waterfront too meaning you can rent a paddleboard, take a dip in the tidal swimming pool at Firestone Bay, berth your boat on our marina or take the ferry across to the Barbican on our hourly service.

Mills Bakery itself overlooks the Marina; its ground floor bars and restaurants are the perfect place to take in the Yard’s activities on a sunny day (we get lots of those here). A range of office occupiers are also based within the building’s contemporary three-storey, glazed atrium, which is surrounded by offices and galleries.

The upper floors of Mills Bakery meanwhile, are filled with 86 RIBA award winning apartments – including micro apartments that epitomise compact, modern living; bay apartments combining modern living with character; and corner apartments with fantastic views.

To find out more about the apartments available to rent, or the limited commercial spaces here and in the Yard’s other buildings, drop us a line.
