The original upside down house
At Chimney Pot Park we've literally turned the inside of the terraced house upside-down. The best bits of the original terraces have been kept - the size, the shape, the roof, the front door, the streets, but with the help of architects shedkm, the insides are something altogether new. Same houses, new homes.
Living room and kitchens on the upper floors, using the all the space up in to the roof we've added a mezzanie level. On the first floor a terrace flows from your living space outside and we've added lightwells where the chimneys used to be. Downstairs are two spacious bedrooms and the bathroom. Secure parking is available between the houses underneath the terrace and on street.

Chimney Pot Park is a community of multi-award-winning houses in Langworthy, Salford.
There's more to living here than just the houses. Shops around the corner, and two parks within walking distance of your home. Langworthy metrolink at the end of the road connects you to Salford Quays, Media City, Manchester City centre and national railway stations.

Meet the designer
Chimney Pot Park is the first house designed with architects shedkm. They developed an innovative approach to regenerating these Salford streets which at one point could have been demolished. Redistributing the space to create more contemporary homes
shedkm are a collective of pragmatic and honest architects who believe in delivering value through design with integrity. They’ve won over 100 major awards, including twelve Housing Design Awards and ten RIBA Awards. They’re also three-time winners of Architect of the Year.
