The main objective of the post is the manufacture of all products ensuring compliance with specification and quality requirements, in an accurate and timely manner to ensure productivity.
Furthermore, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety Procedures and relevant Risk Assessments.
Hours of Work
— To undertake assembly work associated in accordance with assembling timber frame modular buildings.
— Ensure that all assembly work is manufactured and fixed together in accordance with USM Systems drawings and specifications, using the correct materials and fixings.
— Ensure that all assembly work is performed in accordance with the requirement of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation in addition to USM Systems Risk Assessments and Procedures.
— Ensure the overall quality of the product at every stage of manufacture as to the USM standards.
— To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities to respond positively to new and alternatives systems of work.
— To carry out duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with the USM equal opportunities policies.
— Highlight any improvements to the relevant Supervisor/Manager through the correct channels.
— To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function.
— Any other additional duties that may be deemed as necessary to fulfil the role.
