Julian joins the Prime Minister's trade delegation
We've just completed a deal on 8,300 sq ft of space at the Matchworks to recruitment firm Assist – the biggest deal in the area in 2015. It's the second consecutive year we've done the area's biggest deal after our 65,000 sq ft letting to Amey last year. What's more, our recent deals at the Matchworks also account for 50% of completed lettings in South Liverpool in the last month.

Meet the tenant

Meet the tenant
Who? Jim Pascoe one of the Chief Rascals from Rockets and Rascals.
Where? Royal William Yard, Plymouth.
What? Rockets & Rascals is all about the adventure, we're a small but beautifully formed bicycle emporium – we try and find independent brands which aren't widely available. At Royal William Yard we have one of our cycle hire depots, Little Rascals, you can grab a hire bike to cruise around the Yard or take a spin around the wider waterfront. You can also grab a great coffee and chill on the shore with a bit of Mandy's homemade cake.
What’s new? It's all go at Little Rascals for the summer, we've teamed up with South West SUP to offer paddle board sessions through Firestone Arch and around the foreshore. We're just about to fire up the coals on our bbq, chargrilled mackerel baps will be the name of the day at Rockpools & Rascals. All of this is going to be wrapped up in a programme of fun events we're working on with other independents in the Yard.
Why do you love Royal William Yard? When I first came to Plymouth, as a Royal Marine, we used to train in and around the Yard – admittedly there are a few less loud bangs these days but it's great to see how the place has come on. I particularly love our little corner, the view through Firestone Arch always makes you stop for a while and I really enjoy how it feels less formal and a bit more relaxed than the imposing formality of built environment around the Basin.
Where can we find out more? www.rocketsandrascals.com
