Phase One is a mixed use scheme designed by great architects - SMC Alsop and shedkm. We have two Oysters split in half by the canal, an office building on legs called Stilts, a Parking Hedge, and loads of great public realm designed by Grant Associates. It's all gone green too, with natural ventilation to the office, a centralised boiler (with aspirations for CHP in the future) and green roofs all on the agenda. It's going to be an entirely new quarter for Walsall, full of public and private spaces, and bold architectural icons. It's not going to be subtle.

The change is going to be dramatic, but Walsall's ready for it. Everyone's going to be talking about Walsall!
